Mishawn Turner, Leading Partner

Mishawn is a Managing Partner of CORE, where she applies decades of experience in strategic marketing, opportunity development, winning proposal support, and high‑impact branding to help companies achieve growth objectives. With a career immersed in the federal market, her insight has proven invaluable to contractors.

Prior to CORE, Mishawn excelled in executive roles for high‑growth contractors and later founded The Marketing and Consulting Group, Inc., a 30‑year consultancy that helped clients strengthen market position and achieve proposal win rates above industry averages.

She has assisted both small and leading businesses, including ADT Security Services, Blue Cross, and The New York Times in securing and maintaining their MAS Schedules. She has submitted over 150 GSA offers, all of which resulted in contract awards..

Mishawn studied marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University. She combines academic expertise with real‑world experience to deliver training for Federal organizations, associations, universities, Chambers ofCommerce, and other organizations committed to the growth of Government contractors.

Outside the GovCon arena, she consulted with Undaground Promotions, supporting Sony Pictures and other studios in promoting major motion pictured. She finds joy in performing and visual arts, travel,  and creating spaces that connect people.
